Terry Pratchett is probably the best comic fantasy author for adults, but Tom Holt and Robert Asprin are both very good. Piers Anthony is another one.

I currently have 15 Discworld books and I love them all. Terry Pratchett writes in the same genre as Davey and I heard that Davey has been hailed as "the next Terry Pratchett" on the cover of The Vanquish Vendetta.

Actually, within the Discworld stories, there are mini series, with different characters starring in each one. So whichever character you read about depends on which book you pick up first, I guess.

I have never really read them. I'm sure they're good. But life is so busy.

ZOMG ZOMG ZOMG! A terry Prachett thread. ASk me anything! Anything! Ok I don't know that much, but I have read every Discworld book. Going Postal is a personal favourite and my favourite series is The Watch. Maurice and His Eduacted Rodent's is a pardoy of the pied piper.
