Hi, i would just like to know if there is goin to be an Illmoor 7. I've started reading Illmoor 6 and i think it's brilliant. All of the Illmoors so far have been brilliant (but i think David Lee Stone needs to cut down on som of his cheesy jokes!).

The cheesy jokes are probably aimed toward young readers. I got the advanced reading copy of Rat Cat in fifth grade and loved it. This year I found out there were more and read them and laughed real hard, especially at #3. 4's the best though. Haven't read 5 or 6. I'm ordering them though.

Five and six are even better. They continue to push the boundaries of the Illmoor chronicles and i cant wait for more.

There was going to be an Illmoor 7, but as yet Hodder have not signed for it. The next two books from Davey will be the paperback of Illmoor 6: The Coldstone Conflict (July 2007) and The Adventures of Davey Swag (March 2008).
In this case, the best way of finding out whether there will ever be an Illmoor 7 is to write to Hodder Children's Books, 338 Euston Road, London NW1 3BH

Hey folks
Better put this one to rest. Here is the deal:
As of this moment, there are NO plans for Illmoor 7. Hodder are concerning themselves with the business of publicity/launch stuff for Davey Swag, and I haven't written and/or pitched another Illmoor novel. Therefore, as of right now, Illmoor 7 either a) will not appear or b) will not appear until 2009 or beyond.
HOWEVER......
....and I hesitate to inform you guys of this as it is not yet confirmed - I have just submitted a VERY different project to Hodder which tells several stories that take place in Illmoor during the First Age of the continent. I can't say anything else right now, but I absolutely promise to announce it the second anything is agreed.
You forum folks have shown me incredible loyalty, and I appreciate you sticking by Illmoor and spreading the word so that the flag can keep flying until the cursed continent returns once more!
AVAST.
Davey

I cant wait for davey swag, it sounds amazing.. and its ok that there will be a wait for ic7 because there wasnt that big a cliff hanger at the end of 6 i think that i will just be able to bare the wait, especially with Davey Swag to read

I mainly read fantasy/adventure books so unless davey swag is fantasy/adventure i would prefer illmoor chronicles. Anyway, is Swag the character's second name or does it mean something?
